We don't recommend searching by name because:

Mind the Username

The username is automatically populated after you enter the barcode

Mind the Password

Passwords for staff accounts need higher security

Copy and paste that into Notepad for sharing later

Mind the Organization Unit

Be sure and choose the primary branch

Mind the Permission Profile

The top section is patron

The bottom section is staff

Don't be confused by "Staff Member"

You can ignore duplicate warning(s)

This person probably has a patron account

Don't forget to add working locations

Find the staff account

Search by name or profile

Other -> User Permission Editor

Checkbox for branches

Then scroll all the way to the bottom

Click save
